Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacist role is available for a per diem position in Houston, TX, scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This opportunity involves serving as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a closed-door specialty compounding pharmacy focused on holistic health and wellness. The pharmacy dispenses medications such as testosterone, hormones, metformin, and phentermine, operating as a cash-pay facility without insurance processing.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the sole pharmacist on site, supported by one pharmacy technician with an additional technician in the hiring process
• Accurately enter prescriptions using PK Software and dispense approximately 80-125 prescriptions daily
• Perform basic non-sterile compounding of creams, capsules, and powders (no sterile compounding required)
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and maintain a safe medication environment

Required Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Texas
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience
• Experience with compounding is preferred but not mandatory
• Comfort and willingness to assume responsibilities as Pharmacist in Charge without extensive management experience

Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday
