Front End Loader Operator

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., rotating days

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced  Front End Loader Operator to support recycling and material-handling operations. The successful candidate will operate a front end loader with a bucket to feed production lines, move loose materials, manage material piles, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front end loader safely and efficiently
• Feed the baler and sort line with material
• Push, organize, and transfer loose materials
• Receive customer loads and keep travel lanes, ramps, and work areas clear
• Monitor materials for contaminants
• Communicate with baler operators, coworkers, customers, and pedestrians
• Perform daily equipment checks, housekeeping, and required paperwork
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous front end loader experience is required
• Forklift or pallet jack experience alone does  not qualify
• Ability to read, communicate, and speak English
• Recycling experience is a plus
• Must be fully cleared before starting
• Must attend a required interview
• Must be able to work rotating days on the assigned schedule

PPE

Steel-toe boots are required on the first day. Hard hat, hearing protection, eye protection, high-visibility garment, gloves, and other required PPE must be worn; additional PPE will be provided.
