Route Driver

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Route Driver to join our team serving the Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas. This position is responsible for delivering products and promotional materials to customer accounts, merchandising products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, managing a daily route, and building positive relationships with customers.
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Pay: $23.00/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload the company vehicle at the start and end of each shift.
• Perform daily inventory counts to ensure accurate product tracking and reconciliation.
• Complete scheduled deliveries to assigned accounts in a timely and professional manner.
• Discuss new products and promotional items with store personnel.
• Provide basic training on ICEE equipment operation and usage.
• Clean ICEE machines as needed and replenish cups, lids, straws, and promotional materials.
• Document purchase order numbers on invoices when required.
• Deliver products to COD accounts, collect payments, secure money orders, and reconcile funds daily.
• Conduct weekly vehicle inspections and complete Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) for DOT vehicles.
• Support warehouse operations including product rotation, organization, shipping, and receiving.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and team members.
• Manage route schedules efficiently and complete administrative duties accurately.
• Attend weekly Service Center meetings.
• Operate company vehicles safely while complying with all DOT and traffic regulations.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of route driving, delivery, merchandising, or customer service experience.
• Must be 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record, and ability to maintain a Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to regularly lift 55+ pounds and occasionally lift over 70 pounds.
• Comfortable driving more than 40% of the workday.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Work Environment

• Monday-Friday daytime schedule.
• Combination of driving, retail account visits, and warehouse responsibilities.
• Company vehicle provided for route deliveries.
• Independent work environment with minimal supervision.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading of products.
• Steel-toed shoes required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
