• Required Qualifications: Licensing as a registered nurse with no specific years of experience required. Candidates should have prior experience with a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting, and prior experience with Med Surgical or Telemetry nursing is preferred. Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with a SNF background and Med Surgical or Telemetry experience will be prioritized.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit has patient ratios of 5-6:1, tech ratios of 10-15:1, and utilizes equipment such as Hoyer lifts, IVs, PEGs, trachs, peritoneal dialysis (PD), and wound care. Typical procedures performed include medication passes and basic medical surgical nursing. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude and will adhere to the navy scrub dress code. The unit has received multiple Daisy awards, and the facility holds a basic stroke certification from the Joint Commission.
