Lead Laboratory Technician

Qualifications High school education with lab experience, associate or bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related technical or scientific field Experience in lab synthesis and polymer chemistry Experience setting up glassware for polymer and organic synthesis Experience working with glass reactors (tens of liters scale) in a pilot or lab facility Willing and able to work off-shift, night-shift, and rotating shifts Willing and able to wear personal protective equipment including respirator Strong computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing (MS Word) Able to perform physical work consistent with corporate ergonomic guidelines. Can lift up to 55 lbs. A proven track record of having a strong work ethic and positive team attitude. Preferred by site Experience with data analysis to identify problems and plan a path forward for resolution Experience with data interpretation from various analytical techniques Experience working in an ISO/AS9100 certified working environment Additional qualifications Experience in chemical synthesis in lab or chemical manufacturing environment. Able to perform physical work (e.g., lifting to 20 kg) and use drum carts to move up to 180 kg consistent with corporate ergonomic guidelines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email. Willing and able to wear personal protective equipment including respirator, safety shoes, goggles, and gloves.
