### **Job Title: Material Handler (Service Clerk)**

**Location:** Newton Falls Area
**Pay Rate:** $17.00 per hour
**Schedule:**3:30 -12 Monday -Friday
**Requirements:** Resume, Interview, Drug Test, Valid Drivers License

### **Job Summary:**

We are seeking a reliable and motivated **Material Handler (Service Clerk)** to join our team in the **Newton Falls** area. In this role, you will support production operations by supplying materials, maintaining inventory levels at the presses, and assisting with changeovers. You will be responsible for keeping materials organized and moving efficiently to ensure maximum productivity and quality.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

* Identify and handle raw materials and colorants according to Bill of Materials (B.O.M.).
* Follow correct material mixing procedures, including colorants and regrind percentages.
* Accurately use scales for weighing material and perform required material transactions.
* Keep machine material hoppers filled and prevent machines from running out of material.
* Maximize use of regrind without exceeding allowable limits.
* Calculate and prepare only the necessary amount of material for each job using the Daily Production Schedule.
* Pre-stage materials, colorants, and components ahead of mold changes to reduce downtime.
* Supply presses with necessary production items (e.g., cartons, gloves, mold spray, etc.).
* Label all cartons and containers clearly and accurately with required information (product number, date, shift).
* Transport finished goods to designated areas for shipping or secondary operations.
* Ensure all scrap and material containers are properly labeled, dated, and covered.
* Assist in mold changeovers by:

* Cleaning grinders, hoppers, and vacuum lines.
* Filling hoppers with correct raw materials.
* Checking dryer and hopper hose connections, inspecting for leaks, and cleaning filters.
* Logging required data on Dryer Check-Off Sheet.
* Cleaning press area and removing unused fixtures or materials.
* Labeling and storing unused materials properly.

### **Qualifications:**

* Ability to lift up to 55 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift.
* Willingness and ability to obtain forklift certification (training provided if needed).
* Basic math skills, including working with percentages and decimals.
* Ability to read and understand basic work instructions and documentation.
* Valid Drivers License.
* Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in an interview process.

### **Work Environment:**

* Fast-paced, manufacturing setting.
* Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and operating machinery (tow motor/forklift).
* Exposure to industrial materials and equipment.
