Marketing Manager

Cleveland Dairy Queen is a locally owned and operated multi-unit franchise that oversees the Dairy Queen brand across Lake, Geauga, and Cuyahoga Counties. We are seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee the social media landscape and marketing initiatives across our 20+ locations in the Cleveland region. This role is pivotal in shaping our community presence, enhancing our digital footprint, and fostering connections, both online and in person. Key Responsibilities Social Media Own social media strategy across all accounts to maintain a strong, consistent online presence (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Mobile and Delivery Platforms) Create compelling social and digital content, and maintain a content calendar across all locations Capture photo and video on-site at stores and events for use across channels Manage online reviews and customer messages, responding and escalating to store managers as needed Campaigns & Promotions Devise and implement regional marketing strategies that execute the broader Dairy Queen marketing mission Lead our summer cause marketing program (Miracle Treat Day) Develop sales and promotions based on trends in the restaurant and fast food industry Plan and manage paid social campaigns Community & Brand Plan and execute community events, capturing and amplifying the DQ spirit Actively engage with the local community online and in person to foster brand loyalty Train and oversee social media leads at each store to ensure brand consistency and local engagement Operations & Reporting Track and analyze performance across social and promotions, reporting results to leadership on a regular cadence Develop the digital tools necessary for operations, including menu, feature, and exterior boards Develop hiring materials that reflect our brand's culture and attract top talent Take on additional marketing, content, and event projects as they arise across the business. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 3–5 years of marketing experience Proficient with digital marketing tools, including Canva, Photoshop, Facebook/Meta Ads, and Excel Able to shoot and edit photo and video content for socials Uses data to measure campaign results and guide decisions Creative, with a strong sense for content that engages an audience Highly independent self-starter who generates ideas and runs with them Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable presenting ideas and campaigns to franchisees and store teams Highly organized, able to manage multiple stores and projects at once Willing to travel between locations in Lake, Geauga, and Cuyahoga Counties Available to work some evenings and weekends for events Experience in the quick service or restaurant industry is a plus, but not required Salary and Benefits Salary Range $65,000 - $75,000 (Dependent on experience and skill set) Health and Dental Insurance Paid Time Off IRA Eligibility and 3% Employer Match After One Year Annual Performance-Based Bonus Mileage Reimbursement Cleveland Dairy Queen provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
