SAP BASIS Consultant

Seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Administrator/Consultant responsible for SAP system administration, upgrades, support pack implementations, performance optimization, security compliance, incident management, and operational excellence. The role requires expertise in maintaining highly available SAP environments, meeting SLA requirements, leading technical support activities, managing vendors, and supporting project delivery initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, install, configure, and maintain SAP landscapes and BASIS components.
• Perform SAP upgrades, support pack implementations, kernel upgrades, and patch management.
• Provide production support and ensure adherence to SLA targets.
• Monitor SAP system performance, availability, reliability, and capacity utilization.
• Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.
• Support SAP architecture, system design, and infrastructure planning.
• Implement SAP security patches and maintain compliance with regulatory and security standards.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements, automation, and service optimization.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, network, and application teams.
• Manage SAP lifecycle activities, vendor relationships, and support contracts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
• Support project planning, testing, change control, risk management, and deployment activities.
• Apply Organizational Change Management (OCM) principles to ensure successful adoption of system changes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to support teams.
