Pay rate: Starting at $30.00 per hour (DOE)

 

Working hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience performing Short Arc, Spray Arc, and Pulsed MIG (GMAW-P) welding processes on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other structural materials while consistently producing high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
  • Working knowledge of ASME codes and welding standards, with the ability to follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and ensure all work complies with applicable quality and safety requirements.
  • Ability to accurately read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, fabrication prints, and weld symbols to fabricate and assemble components to specification.
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring and layout tools, including tape measures, squares, levels, calipers, and other inspection equipment, to accurately measure, mark, fit, and align structural components prior to welding.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication practices, material preparation, fit-up, and weld sequencing to ensure dimensional accuracy and structural integrity.
  • Ability to inspect completed welds for quality, identify defects, and perform corrective actions as needed while maintaining production and quality standards.
  • Committed to maintaining a safe work environment by following company safety policies, proper PPE requirements, and established welding procedures.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Must have strong mechanical skills and experience with basic hand and light power tools.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and may occasionally lift over 50 lbs, where employee assistance is required.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to do basic computer tasks.
