Cardiac Catheterization Technologist | Tea, South Dakota

Step into a dynamic and comprehensive cardiac care environment as a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist. You'll play a pivotal role in a complete Cath Lab team comprised of Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon, supporting a wide range of cardiac and peripheral procedures.


Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour day shift
• Rotating call coverage during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficient Cath Lab Tech experience, particularly in both scrubbing and circulating roles
• Strong familiarity with cardiac and peripheral procedures such as Left/Right Heart Cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid interventions, pacemaker insertions, kyphoplasty, and AV graft procedures
• Competence with imaging and device platforms, including Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various atherectomy devices
• Experience operating Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and working with McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and the Hemodynamic System
• Solid working knowledge of safe radiation and equipment handling
• Ability to manage inventory, support billing, and provide patient care in pre- and post-op areas
• Current applicable state licensure and relevant certifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with a full spectrum of cardiac and peripheral interventions
• Rotate between scrubbing and circulating roles, including operation of x-ray equipment
• Support all phases of patient care, from transport to post-procedural observation
• Maintain and organize lab inventory and assist with supply chain management
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and assist with procedure-related billing
