Fulfillment Team Member

In this role, you’ll provide incredible service to our in-store and e-commerce customers by selecting, packing and staging orders containing a variety of our great-tasting products accurately and efficiently. You’ll also help our customers select product offerings and submit their orders, while ensuring a seamless and positive pick-up experience for all. Be comfortable utilizing technology to fulfill customer orders and communicate through various platforms to select products that meet preferences and substitutions Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders and stage them in fulfillment area and process payments if necessary Help our customers by providing incredible service, answering questions about product offerings, providing solutions/suggestion and submitting orders for the customer Properly bag and store items to ensure products arrive at their destination in the best condition Help to maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workspace Required Qualifications: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Detail-Oriented Familiarity and comfortability with technology (web, mobile, etc.) At Wegmans, we’ve always believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people. Experience in a variety of departments; The physical demands of this work are classified as medium. Work includes standing and walking for up to 4 hours without a break, pushing a shopping cart, repetitive hand and arm movements, including using a computer, smart device and telephone. There is frequent reaching, including reaches above shoulder height, occasional to frequent bending, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 5-20 pounds, with a maximum weight lifted of 45 pounds occasionally. May receive assistance with heavy items, if available. Upper extremity repetition is moderately high, and trunk movement involves moderate to moderately high twisting, bending and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is mostly indoors and involves exposure to cold (33° - 55°) and freezing (0° - 20°) temperatures. The work environment also involves seasonal outdoor temperatures and weather.
