Job Description Position Summary Our Leasing Consultants make a meaningful impact through friendly interactions, welcoming conduct, and genuine interest in visitors. You will manage your own success by achieving leasing goals (occupancy and rent growth) and building rapport with prospects and residents. Responsibilities include managing leads in the CRM, scheduling tours, showing apartments, and encouraging online applications. You will help prospects find their home at the community. Responsibilities Customer Service (30%) Deliver unmatched service to prospects and residents to exceed expectations and nurture satisfaction Guide prospects through the leasing experience to make renting easy Serve as the liaison through the application, leasing screening, and move-in process, including all related paperwork Fully dedicated to prospects through answering calls, emails, chats, and texts Encourage prospects to apply Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Sales (40%) Communicate detailed information regarding communities and apartments to prospects Generate interest by conducting informative and personalized tours Highlight the quality of the community and lifestyle to drive leases Develop knowledge of the rental process and markets to inform sales interactions Employ effective selling techniques to close sales Collaborate with onsite team to exceed occupancy goals Maintain knowledge of apartments, amenities, and local attractions Stay aware of current rental rates and promotions Present a favorable image of the community to achieve objectives Schedule tours and show apartments Leasing Administration (30%) Monitor inbound leads, qualify prospects, lease apartments, tour prospects, follow up after tours, and complete move-in procedures Proactively manage all leads and customer experience using the CRM Complete assigned CRM tasks within the designated timeframe Manage leasing requests from existing residents Run applications, communicate screening results, prepare leases, and collect required information for move-in Inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate with maintenance for outstanding items Master the leasing process from post-tour follow-up to closing tasks in the CRM Education High school diploma/GED required Associate degree in Customer Service/Hospitality preferred Work Experience 1-2 years of sales and customer service experience achieving sales goals in a fast-paced environment (e.g., property management, hospitality, retail, or restaurant) required 1-2 years of previous leasing experience within the multifamily property management industry preferred Licenses & Certifications Valid driver’s license depending on property required Requirements 1+ year sales and customer service experience achieving sales goals in a fast-paced environment Previous leasing experience within the multifamily property management industry a plus Demonstrated success in goal setting/achievement and following a sales process Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws Adherence to Fair Housing laws and Brookfield leasing policies High energy, sales and customer service driven Reliable with high attention to detail, self-motivated, and self-managing Ability to work with diverse individuals Customer-focused mentality, professional appearance, and sales aptitude Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) Skills: fair housing laws, affordable housing programs, Microsoft Office, accountability, persuasiveness, and closing sales techniques Proficiency with Yardi CRM (IQ preferred) Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Compensation & Benefits Competitive Commission Program: bonus commission, renewal commission, housing discount, and other bonuses where applicable (e.g., referral, training coach, renovation, lease-up, contests) Incentives and Great Benefits: full benefits package, generous paid time off, 401(k) with company match, growth and advancement opportunities, referral bonuses, on-site housing discount where applicable Equal Opportunity Equal Opportunity Employer: Minorities/Religion/Sex/Protected Veterans/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Marital Status/Pregnancy/Age/National Origin/Genetic Information.
