Job Overview:

\n

Market Infrastructure is a global team with representation in APCA, EMEA and USA that acts as the technical bridge between exchanges, brokers and other external parties and AAC-USA. By capturing and normalizing trade messages, we ensure that clients and stakeholders have visibility of their trade activity while we meet our regulatory requirements.

\n

\n

As a Business Analyst in Market Infrastructure, you work in a team that focuses on improving the performance of our processes, systems and tooling. You do this by translating product and process improvements into value propositions and end-to-end solutions. You consider the requirements and frameworks set by internal and external stakeholders, such as Risk, development, Operations, and Commercial teams.

This position is based in our Chicago office and requires a min of 3 days per week onsite in office.

\n

\n

Job Responsibilities:

\n

\n

\n
• Interact with stakeholders and translate business needs to development tickets in Jira
\n
• Provide advice to relevant stakeholders, creating support for change managment
\n
• Promote change through the solutions you propose.
\n
• Work closely with developers, product owners and business stakeholders to drive effective improvements in performance, quality and efficiency
\n
• Document current processes and procedures
\n
• Take part in product testing
\n
• Conduct root cause analysis on production incidents
\n
• Act as the first point ofcontact for Exchanges, Brokers and clearing houses
\n
• Drive and work on industry wide projects and channel information from external parties to internal stakeholders
\n

\n

Basic Qualifications:

\n

\n

\n
• 5+ years experience working in the (listed) derivatives and equities industry, with full understanding of the post-trade lifecycle from trade capture through to settlement
\n
• Experience working for a Central Counterparty (CCP), clearing house, or exchange is a plus
\n
• Bachelors Degree
\n
• Used to working in an international environment
\n
• Experience with financial information exchange (FIX) protocol and other trading system components
\n
• Experience working on complex IT implementations together with developers
\n
• Proven drive to exceed expectations of internal and external stakeholders
\n
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and thrive in an externally imposed deadline driven environment
\n
• Not afraid to dive into details and use your analytical skills
\n
• You have affinity working with larger projects and can take the role of leading the change process, including engaging internal stakeholders and other parties involved. You document the progress and ensure that the parties involved meet expected objectives and ensure that AAC-USA meet external deadlines
\n
• Intermediate SQL and Excel skills
\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

\n

\n
• Experience with GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer (MFT) or similar solutions
\n
• Experience with Confluence and Jira
\n
• Experience with BitBucket, Git and/or alike
\n

\n

\n

Below is the expected base salary for this position. Offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process. This position will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

\n

\n

Annual base salary, not including discretionary bonus eligibility: $110,000+

\n

\n
