On-Call Resident AssistantPersonal Care Senior Living – Andover & Columbia Heights

Looking for a flexible position where you can make a difference without committing to a full-time schedule?

Personal Care Senior Living is looking for dependable and compassionate On-Call Resident Assistants to join our team at our Andover and Columbia Heights communities .

Choose to work at Andover, Columbia Heights, or both locations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who already has another job, is attending school, wants additional income, or simply prefers a flexible schedule.

On-Call Commitment

Our on-call team members are asked to work a minimum of:

4 shifts per month

• At least 2 shifts must be weekend shifts
• Choose Andover, Columbia Heights, or both
• Opportunity to pick up additional open shifts as available

This position is perfect for someone who wants flexibility while still being part of a consistent team and getting to know the residents they care for.

What You'll Do

As a Resident Assistant at Personal Care Senior Living, you'll provide personal care and health-related services that help our residents remain comfortable, safe, independent, and engaged.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting and other activities of daily living
• Providing medication administration and reminders as trained and delegated by nursing
• Assisting residents with mobility and escorting throughout the community
• Providing light housekeeping and personal laundry assistance
• Observing residents and reporting changes in condition to nursing
• Completing required documentation and service records
• Encouraging and assisting residents with activities and socialization
• Assisting during mealtimes as needed
• Responding appropriately to resident needs and emergency situations
• Working together with nursing, culinary, housekeeping and other members of the Personal Care team

• Willing to learn and follow Personal Care policies and resident care plans

Experience

Previous senior living, assisted living, memory care, CNA, NAR or HHA experience is preferred but not necessarily required .

We value the right attitude, dependability and genuine desire to care for older adults.

Training is provided for qualified candidates.

Requirements:

High School education/GED or previous work experience

CNA/ NAR or HHA Certificate preferred.

Experience in working with older adults.
