In other words, we strive to be the best we can be.ResponsibilitiesThe Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the products supplied by Infiltrator's Walker facility conform to specifications and quality plans. This position works closely with the Production Team to develop and implement the Quality Plans, Work Instructions, and related quality management system procedures which ensure the outbound products meet the specifications. This position performs internal quality audits and inspections on the self-manufactured product and also on the outsourced manufacturing at third parties. This position supports supplier audits virtually or at their facilities. This position will implement corrective actions when requirements are not met. Assists in the design and implementation of test methods for controlling purchased item quality. Leads cross functional teams to ensure compliance.JOB DESCRIPTION:Supports the Walker operation with a focus on the quality of the products produced.Create Quality Plans and Work Instructions for products or processes as required.Define inspection criteria, sampling plans and quality standards.Perform detailed first piece-inspections using blueprints and metrology equipment.
