We are looking to hire " part time" helpers to assist driver with deliveries in Montebello, CA . This is a non-driving position. Availability and tenative schedule is 10am -3pm Monday thru Friday.
Helper Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be able to safely lift/carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with use of hand truck/dolly
- Be on time and ready to work each work day
- Be able to climb stairs and get in and out of truck at least 150 times per day
- Be able to work in all types of weather
- Have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude
Daily Duties include but not limited to:
- Delivery and pick up of packages to businesses and residences.
- Walking packages from delivery vehicle into individual businesses with use of a hand truck/dolly
- Loading and unloading packages to/from vehicle for deliveries
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with manager
- Accurately operate scanner/effectively to track delivery process
Pay: $18/hour
