Psych Registered Nurse - Adolescent Unit

3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Psych Registered Nurse to join our Adolescent Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute adult mental health and de-escalation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to adolescent patients with thought disorders, psychosis, and personality disorders.
Utilize de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a psychiatric nursing setting, specifically working with adolescents.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine.
Certification in de-escalation techniques preferred.
