Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of RRT experience and active Ohio RRT licensure.

Details

• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Weekend work as needed
• May float to other CCF facilities including Avon, Euclid, Fairview, Lutheran, and Pulmonary Main Campus
• Supports NI Expansion coverage for the NMET team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• Active Ohio RRT license required at time of consideration, license required if applicable
• Active NBRC certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from assignments worked in the past 12 months
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required within 12 months of start, updated annually
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Facility is a smoke-free and nicotine-free environment with no exceptions
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
• All RTO requests must be discussed during the interview and included at time of consideration
• Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed by the facility;
  no professional licensehits are accepted
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to a Cleveland Clinic location
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
