Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join a dedicated surge team for a specialized surge unit. While the primary focus will be within the surge unit, there may be occasions where the individual will float to other Adult Health units at the Tucson Campus, providing care for Medical-Surgical (MS), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Intermediate Care (IMC) patients as required by staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the surge unit.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare professionals across various Adult Health units.
• Assist in managing patient flow and transitioning patients as needed.
• Adapt to changing staffing needs, including floating to other departments or campuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Level I Trauma center or a large hospital setting is preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required for consideration.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

This is a second shift position, with a 12-hour work schedule.
