Securities Based Lending Analyst
Location: Columbus, OH
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Duration: 6 Months RTH
Pay Rate: $35/hr W2
Interview: 1 Round with Hiring Manager – Zoom
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required

Position Overview
The Securities Based Lending Analyst will support the Private Bank’s Latin America / Global Families Group (GFG) Securities Based Lending team within Wealth Management Operations.
This role provides an opportunity to build a strong foundation in wealth management credit, securities-based lending, and financial operations while gaining end-to-end exposure to the secured credit lifecycle.
The Analyst will work closely with lenders and other stakeholders to support credit due diligence, collateral analysis, documentation review, underwriting preparation, and ongoing portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Securities Based Lenders (SBL) throughout the lifecycle of credit requests and ongoing portfolio management.
- Prepare client credit analyses prior to underwriting, including gathering and reviewing client credit information.
- Perform collateral analyses to support underwriting activities.
- Support preparation of inputs for loan grading and pricing .
- Conduct annual reviews of lines of credit and draft recommendations for renewal or modification .
- Analyze client data across multiple systems and complete preliminary credit reviews .
- Review loan documentation for accuracy and completeness .
- Assist with preparation of loan documentation packages as needed.
- Review documentation for compliance with applicable federal and local regulatory requirements .
- Support a high volume of lower-risk, fully secured credit transactions involving loans, letters of credit, and derivatives .
- Work collaboratively with lenders, internal stakeholders, and external clients when required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
- Working knowledge of financial/investment markets .
- Understanding of asset classes such as:
- Equities
- Mutual funds
- Fixed income
- Municipal securities
- Ability to analyze financial/client data across multiple systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills .
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills .
- Ability to complete projects with limited supervision.
- Willingness and ability to learn about:

- Advisory capabilities
Preferred / Standout Qualifications
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam — candidates who have passed or are preparing for the SIE will stand out.
