Neonatal Nurse Practitioner NNP

Job Overview Department: GCH Neonatal APPs Location: Golisano Children’s Hospital, Buffalo, NY Job Type: Full Time Work Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM with rotation 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Shift 3 Responsibilities Diagnose illness and physical conditions and perform therapeutic and corrective measures within a specialty of practice. Collaborate with licensed physicians under a written practice agreement and protocols. Education & Credentials Completion of a master’s, post‑master’s or doctorate NP program accredited by CCNE or ACEN. Current active RN and NP licenses in NYS. National NP certification. Experience & Requirements Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience. Preferably 2 years in a specialty area (e.g., NICU, Nursery) as RN or NP. Internal hire required upon transfer into a new position. External hire required at the time of application. Current BLS and NRP certifications required. DEA registration or eligibility required. Agreement from an appropriate physician to enter into a collaborative agreement required. Working Conditions Onsite work arrangement. Weight requirement: Medium (up to 50 lbs). FTE: 0.96. On Call Required: No. With Rotation: Yes. Shift 3. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $68.21 – $84.57 per hour.
