Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician
- Assist in a variety of elective surgical procedures including Ortho, Spine, General, CV, Plastics, GYN, Robotics, and Urology
- Ensure proper sterilization and organization of operating rooms
- Provide support to surgical staff during procedures
- Maintain patient safety and comfort at all times
Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician
- Minimum 6 months of current acute care CST Hospital experience
- NBSTA and DORA Certifications
- BLS Certification
