Maintenance TechnicianHelp Keep Our Facilities Safe, Functional, and WelcomingRCMS is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of our healthcare facilities and residential properties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and taking pride in maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning environments.As a key member of our Facilities team, you'll help ensure our buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards while supporting staff, patients, and visitors across our organization.What You'll DoPerform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasksComplete minor carpentry, painting, patching, and general facility upkeepTroubleshoot and resolve basic building and equipment issuesReplace light bulbs, air filters, ceiling tiles, and similar componentsAssist with landscaping, mowing, and exterior property maintenanceHelp maintain a safe and compliant work environmentSupport office moves, furniture assembly, event setup, and special projectsCoordinate access for vendors and contractors when neededMaintain organized workspaces, storage areas, and maintenance recordsProvide occasional backup support for environmental services staffWhat We're Looking ForPrevious maintenance, facilities, or handyman experienceComfortable using hand and power tools safelyStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksDependable team player with a positive attitudeHealthcare facility experience is a plus, but not requiredPhysical RequirementsThis role involves active, hands-on work including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.Why Join RCMS?At RCMS, your work directly contributes to creating safe, welcoming spaces where healthcare teams can provide exceptional care.
