Travel RN - OR Circulator

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days - 4 10s. 6:30 AM to 5 PM with on-call responsibilities.

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN collaborates with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, OR Technicians, and other personnel to provide patient care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, regulatory standards, physician orders, and the policies and procedures of the hospital and surgical department.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely availability of supplies and equipment for surgeries.
• Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding surgical procedures and care.
• Update physician preference cards accurately.
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases.
• Supervise personnel to ensure quality patient care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR Circulator.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification (AHA or American Red Cross).
• Experience with robotic surgeries is preferred.
