Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Role Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU, providing direct care to critically ill adult patients within a comprehensive healthcare system. Responsibilities Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on assessments to optimize outcomes. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions effectively. Collaborates across disciplines for care coordination, including transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support. Provides patient and family education tailored to individual needs. Delegates care to ancillary staff and may precept students and new hires. Qualifications Active RN license in Maine or ability to obtain it promptly. Minimum of 1 year RN experience in acute care; CCU experience preferred. Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and MOAB are preferred. Skills & Key Duties Strong clinical assessment, communication, teamwork, delegation, and educational skills.
