PSC Phlebotomist

Join our mission to improve health and lives. Job Title Phlebotomist – New Orleans, LA Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other required tests. Enter patient data accurately and promptly into the system. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain specimen and patient logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as required. Travel to additional sites when needed. Maintain full COVID‑19 vaccination status, or qualify for a medical or religious accommodation. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program. At least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Certification must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record of exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Accurate data entry and ability to work with minimal supervision.
