Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol – Miami, FL As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential and commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents through a visible presence and routine patrols. You will support residents, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, and reliable team that values integrity and teamwork. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM Sunday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and staff by following site‑specific procedures, property rules, and applicable emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts. Support residential and commercial real‑estate operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing routine reports related to daily security‑related activity. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
