At Santa Cruz Family Dentists, we are a well-established practice led by Dr. Matiasevich, with a strong focus on implant dentistry, oral surgery, and full-mouth reconstruction. We are seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant who is confident in their clinical abilities, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is looking to work on more complex and rewarding cases. What We Offer

• $28-$38 per hour DOE
• Monthly performance bonuses
• Monday-Thursday schedule (8:00 AM-5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch)
• Approximately 32 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Assist chairside during fillings, crowns, extractions, implants, root canals, and oral surgery
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures
• Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control standards
• Take and document medical and dental histories
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the day
• Ensure a smooth, comfortable patient experience during all procedures

Qualifications

• 2+ years of continuous dental assisting experience
• Active RDA certification or Associate's Degree in Dental Assisting
• Oral surgery and/or implant experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and a calm, confident chairside manner
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-skill clinical environment
