Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

Duties

Assist radiologists in performing specialized and invasive procedures.

Prepare sterile supplies, contrast materials, catheters, and other equipment.

Independently perform routine to complex diagnostic procedures.

Perform portable radiographic imaging in the operating room and in other areas of the hospital using radiographic equipment.

Review radiographs performed to ensure quality prior to radiologist interpretation.

Perform front desk duties to include receiving patients, scheduling, and explaining methods of examination in person and over the telephone.
