Travel Physical Therapist - $2,271 per week

Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Monterey, California. The role requires a licensed Physical Therapist with experience or a newly graduated PT willing to travel. Competitive pay, benefits, and support are offered. Essential Work Functions Evaluate patients’ conditions and identify functional limitations. Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs. Operate and maintain equipment safely. Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals. Educate patients and caregivers on self‑management and home exercise. Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance. Participate in quality assurance and professional development. Assist in discharge planning and transition of care. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Prior physical therapy experience; new graduates welcomed. Other certifications or licenses may be required. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, interpersonal communication. English reading, writing, and verbal communication. Proficiency with personal computers. Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Work effectively with varied personnel and maintain professionalism. Cope with frequent public contact and meet deadlines under pressure. Work under close supervision occasionally or independently. Handle irregular schedules and maintain concentration to detail.
