Assistant Publisher

Supporting a portfolio of journals and publishing partner relationships, the full-time remote Assistant Publisher will manage communications, analyze data, and assist in the development of publishing agreements while collaborating with various teams to ensure effective publishing services. Key responsibilities Manage ongoing relationships with publishing partners through communication and reporting tools Analyze journal, market, financial, and bibliometric data to support journal development and partner conversations Prepare materials for renewing journal publishing agreements and collaborate on contract negotiations Required qualifications Some experience in publishing, journals, academic research, or a related environment Good understanding of journal publishing or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area Strong written communication skills for producing clear and accurate materials Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
