Advanced Warehouse Operator - Level II – SHOPWe are looking for a talented Advanced Warehouse Operator - Level II – SHOP to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Cummins Inc. facility in North Charleston, SC.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, and system processing of incoming goods, quickly identifying and resolving damage or invoice discrepancies.Maintain organized inventory by accurately sorting, labeling, storing, and arranging materials to maximize warehouse efficiency and space utilization.Support on-time customer delivery by safely picking, packing, and shipping products according to operational and customer requirements.Promote a strong safety culture by following HSE standards, using proper PPE, reporting hazards, and addressing risks within your control.Protect product quality by performing inspections, following standard work procedures, and identifying and controlling non-conforming materials.Achieve operational excellence by consistently meeting established production, cycle time, and engineering performance standards.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by actively identifying opportunities to enhance safety, quality, material flow, and overall processes.Strengthening team performance through effective communication, collaboration with peers and support teams, equipment care, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.External Qualifications and CompetenciesTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with team members and support groups to achieve shared operational goals.Make sound, timely decisions that support safety, quality, productivity, and customer expectations.Deliver consistent results by maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and performance in warehouse operations, even during changing priorities.Take ownership of responsibilities, follow through on commitments, and uphold high standards of accountability and reliability.Continuously expand your skills and knowledge by embracing training, development opportunities, and warehouse systems, tools, and processes.Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.Requires certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet rider, etc.) and/or other heavy machinery.This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.Additional Responsibilities Unique to this PositionAdditional InformationDelivering material to salvage and disassembly linesDelivering boxes and containers to box build cell.About UsCummins is an equal opportunity employer.
