Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Start date: 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,136 to $2,184 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,136 – $2,184 per week Shift: 3x12-hour shifts Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Department (ER) Orientation: Up to 16 hours unpaid Responsibilities Assess and triage patients in the ED, initiating nursing care plans and ongoing evaluation throughout the stay Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood products as ordered; monitor responses and manage adverse effects Perform ongoing patient assessments, document nursing actions, observations, and patient responses Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and care coordination Collaborate with the charge nurse and preceptor as needed; participate in handoffs and shift transitions Maintain clinical competence in a high-acuity ED environment and support team-based care Requirements Licensure: Active RN license in Maine; no licensure hits or actions Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required Experience: Minimum 2 years of ED experience; at least 1 year of critical care nursing experience required Orientation and setting: Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced ED; may fulfill charge nurse and/or preceptor roles if needed Residency: Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the assignment location Benefits and Support Orientation: Up to 16 hours unpaid 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Housing assistance Extension opportunities Bonus opportunities Referral bonus up to $1,000 Pay Disclaimer Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
