Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Gillette, WY

Compensation: $ $24.00 - $30.80 + on-call pay and cell phone reimbursement

Visionary Broadband seeks a qualified individual to fill the role of Facilities Maintenance Technician . This full-time position will join the team at Visionary Broadband, one of the top internet service providers in the Rocky Mountain region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent Visionary Broadband in a professional manner while making repairs and upgrades on Visionary building sites. Visionary has multiple locations across Wyoming and Colorado.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors to complete facility work where needed. Quality review of work prior to payment of contractor/vendor.
• Conduct facility checks to identify any building, equipment or safety related issues.
• Possess integrity and a dedication to results, must be self-driven and have good problem-solving skills.
• Maintain professional behavior and proper communication with internal and external contacts, including company and branch employees, managers, and outside vendors.
• Interact with customers, landowners and supervision over the phone and in person
• Climb tower sites and Install equipment
• Assembling electronic equipment in racks/cabinets, plumbing all RF, wiring
• Telecom Installation of RF/ground/power/telecommunications cabling.
• Completion of client and company checklists, photos, and test results typically communicated to management (emails, uploads to FTP, Web Interface, etc.)
• Maintain network documentation with a very high level of accuracy
• Completing work that is assigned while on 24-hour “on call” duty to resolve any tower-related or customer issues

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate must possess the following skills, or have equivalent experience and/or qualifications:

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must have a valid driver license and be insurable to drive a company vehicle
• Must be able handle and climb a ladder
• Must be willing to travel within the region 30-40% of the time
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Work at Tower heights for duration of day.
• Lift and carry up to and above 75 pounds.
• Utilize fine motor coordination, clear speech, and good visual acuity.
• Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
• Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Exposure to high, precarious places
• Exposure to outside weather conditions
