Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,000 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York. We are looking for a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Rochester, NY. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, and 9 hour nights shifts. Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 9 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for the use of diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring accurate images and passing them to physicians for interpretation. You will also prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic testing. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support. Follow orders from physicians regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging. Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the appropriate position. Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to yourself and the patient by taking appropriate protection precautions. Calibrate imaging equipment. Prepare results for physicians to review. Maintain accurate patient records. Understand and use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state‑specific licensing when required. 1 year of experience BLS certification ARRT (R) National Certification State‑specific licensing when required Rad Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Rad Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, 2 Years. Job ID #1434983.
