The nurse will work in a day shift schedule. A minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac rehab is required. Candidates must have current licensure in the relevant state or a Compact license. Certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory. The role involves reading and interpreting telemetry. Candidates should have experience in managing conditions such as angina, hypertension, and post-operative care. Responsibilities will include patient teaching and ensuring fall risk assessments. Infection prevention practices are essential. Nurses will provide care to adult and geriatric patients. Expected daily census is around 12 patients. This role includes the need to work some holidays.
