Pediatric Intensivist

Marshfield Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained Pediatric Intensivist to join its well-established team in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Providers will deliver initial and ongoing critical care services and sedation for pediatric patients within the adjoining Marshfield Children's Hospital. Practice Info Care is provided in the adjoining Marshfield Children's Hospital Approximately 450 PICU admissions per year with an average midnight census of 4.61 Team consists of four other Pediatric Intensivists in the 40-member Department of Pediatrics 56-bed Children's Hospital featuring a 24-bed level 3 NICU, 8-bed PICU, and 26-bed pediatric acute beds ACS Verified Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Program and member of the Children's Oncology Group Responsibilities Provide initial and ongoing care of pediatric patients needing intensive care services Provide sedation services to pediatric patients undergoing clinic and hospital procedures Be involved in medical education and research Compensation Nationally competitive compensation plan Benefits Health, dental and vision insurance 401K plan Short-term and long-term disability Life insurance CME allowance Allowed time away Malpractice insurance and tail coverage Relocation allowance Shift & Schedule Pediatric Intensivists cover the unit 24/7 Call is shared among the team (1:5) and are not in house at night Qualifications BC/BE fellowship-trained Pediatric Intensivist Current fellows welcome to apply H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available
