Banquet Servers are responsible for providing courteous, professional, and efficient food and beverage service during banquet and catered events while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing "Can Do" attitude and genuine hospitality and by exceeding guest expectations. Must be available to work flexible schedules, including: Days and evenings Weekdays, weekends, and holidays Event-based schedules Benefits Dental, Medical, and Pension applicable to the Collective Bargaining Agreement Vacation, sick and holiday pay Free Parking at the hotel Meal allowance Career Development Education Assistance Room Rate Discounts with any Hilton Brand Hotel Additional Room Discounts for select hotels within portfolio Two pairs of slip resistant shoes a year Discount rates for travel such as car rental, theme parks, and much more Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Set up banquet rooms according to service standards Prepare tables with linens, china, glassware, flatware, and condiments Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner Retrieve and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with company and state regulations Open and serve wine and champagne as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet stations and service areas Clear tables, remove soiled dishes, and assist with breakdown and cleanup after events Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, friendly service Follow all safety, sanitation, and service standards Assist with room turnovers and additional banquet duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages Minimum 6 months of serving experience required High school diploma or equivalent preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Ability to maintain professionalism during busy or high-pressure situations Basic food, beverage, and wine knowledge preferred Licenses/Certifications: CA Food Handler's Card required Alcohol Training (TIPS / ServSafe) required RBS Certification required Compensation: $19 an hour.
