Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Hampshire or compact eligible
• A minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a PTA in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
• Current BLS certification
• Comfortable working with a diverse patient population, including geriatrics

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing patient needs
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
