Job Description Job Description Construction Estimator Location: Santa Ana Schedule: Full-Time Compensation: Salary + Performance Bonus + Benefits Responsibilities Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate cost estimates Estimate labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and project timelines Prepare detailed bid proposals, scopes of work, and project breakdowns Utilize QuickBooks for estimating, budgeting, job costing, and tracking Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing Conduct occasional site visits to assess project needs and scope Collaborate with project managers and field teams throughout the estimating process Revise estimates as project scopes change Maintain organized bid files, project records, and proposal documentation Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and property management companies Deliver excellent customer service while building long-term business relationships Qualifications Previous experience as a Construction Estimator required Commercial and/or industrial construction experience preferred Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Proficiency in QuickBooks required Excellent written communication and email correspondence skills Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational abilities Experience working with subcontractors and vendors Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Experience with property management maintenance projects is a plus Familiarity with Bluebeam or other estimating software is a plus Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: -06/22- 088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdf The pay transparency policy is available here: - transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
