Perform analyses to enable the business to make informed business decisions and identify and drive efficiencies.Forecast labor and overhead absorption vs. actual labor and overhead for manufacturing, based upon production history and forecast. Includes new and refurb EGM’s, new and refurb Tables and Utilities and Systems.Partner across the Supply Chain business, providing financial guidance to optimize business profitability. In this capacity, also help to educate the business on financial matters to ensure they understand their contributions to drive business results.Forecasting for cost/inventory, standard cost-related itemsAnalyze refurbished game costs to determine financial return on investmentLeverage data analyses to help the business prioritize their portfolio to deliver their financial commitmentsObsolescence/Scrap/Physical + Cycle Count VariancePartner with Sourcing to provide Purchase Price Variance (PPV) forecasts and analyze actualsWrite down/up of inventory based on standard cost changesWork in process/manufacturing variancesExpedited FreightCross-functional business partner on rework charges for Raw Materials, WIP, etc. Support the business in identifying risk and opportunities. Vetting of Procurement’s cost per platform forecast versus production actuals. Explaining cost variances. Adjust cost per platform forecast when average BOM varies to actual production or when favorable vendor pricing is not achieved.Oracle improvement IT/Cost Accounting projects Production Review. Ensure management oversight of production review and reporting that ensures costs per platform are accurateLabor + Overhead burden is calculating properly per serial relative to standard build timesDirect materials cost is within expectation of forecasted costs per unit based upon expected standard cost changesAnnual Standard Cost Changes on Raw MaterialsEnsure alignment with Procurement’s expected cost per unit Lead project to change standard cost changes from monthly back to quarterly to minimize the effort involved with monthly standard cost changesRaw Materials Obsolescence Review:Monthly review with Inventory PlanningQuarterly review with Shared Services Accounting – Global Close & Controls teamObsolescence Reviews for Used Inventory QualificationsEducationBachelor degree in related field.Years of Related Experience5 to 8 years of relevant experience requiredSupply Chain finance experience is preferredPreferred Traits, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business partners including manufacturing, demand/supply planning, sourcing, commercial finance, purchasing, etc.Knowledge of ERP and financial reporting systems (e.g. Hyperion)Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills as well as the ability to manage large data sets.Experience in SQL and AI is highly preferred as these tools are most beneficial to manage and analyze our information into more manageable key takeawaysAbility to maintain a strategic view while operating at a level of fine detail; correlate portfolio priorities and strategy to daily operations and decision making within the supply chain environment.Operate with a high degree of connectedness, transparency, and clarity to ensure common understanding of requirements, issues, and actions; listen to stakeholders and distill information into pertinent and actionable content.Ability to adapt to the pace and dynamic nature of the business; process data, information and feedback with speed and communicate outcomes, alternatives and actions plans with appropriate urgency.Must have a strong analytical background.Physical Requirements:This position operates in a professional office environment.
