Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call Required (PRN Low Census)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with standard nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6, with potential flex to 1:7 during unplanned staffing absences
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry, insulin administration, and rapid response intervention
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed during low census periods
• Float within scope to other like units or sister facilities to meet staffing needs
• Be available for potential emergency response team assignment during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or active Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency in Epic electronic health records
• Clinical skills in Medical/Surgical nursing, telemetry, insulin management, and rapid response
• Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current ACLS and/or NIHSS certification
• Experience with MS/Tele or combined Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
