We are currently seeking a Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent to join our growing remote team in a full-time W2 position.

About the Role

As a Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent, you will help Medicare beneficiaries understand their coverage options and make informed decisions based on their individual healthcare needs.

You’ll work with clients through needs-based conversations, explain available Medicare plans, assist with enrollments, and provide ongoing support throughout the client relationship.

This position is well suited for both new and seasoned Medicare agents who are licensed, detail-oriented, committed to compliant sales practices, and comfortable working in a remote environment.

What You’ll Do

• Educate clients on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Medicare Part D plan options

• Conduct needs-based conversations to understand clients’ healthcare coverage needs

• Explain plan features, benefits, costs, and coverage options clearly and accurately

• Assist clients with enrollment while following CMS and carrier requirements

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional service and follow-up

• Maintain accurate client records using CRM and enrollment platforms such as Sunfire

• Stay current on Medicare guidelines, carrier requirements, and plan information

• Communicate professionally with clients throughout the sales and enrollment process

• Work independently while collaborating with a remote team and support staff

• Follow all applicable company, carrier, and regulatory compliance standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Health Insurance License — required

  • License must have at least 90 days remaining before expiration

• AHIP 2027 Certification — required

• Resume and NIPR report (PDB report) — required

• Must hold at least 2 active non-resident state licenses

• New or seasoned Medicare agents are welcome

• Seasoned agents must have releases in hand and be able to contract with UHC

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

• High attention to detail and commitment to ethical, compliant sales practices

• Experience with enrollment and client management systems such as Sunfire

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative remote team environment
