Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a vibrant educational setting near Ithaca, NY, where you’ll support K-12 students during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract opportunity offers meaningful work with a diverse caseload, providing services to students with mild to severe disabilities—including autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbance, and Down syndrome. You’ll play a crucial role in student growth and communication success, all while working within a welcoming and collaborative team environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid New York SLP License and active TSSLD Certification are required
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification strongly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or teletherapy SLP roles is highly valued
• Confidence managing varied caseloads, including students with complex needs and diagnoses
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech/language therapy to students across K-12
• Develop individualized plans of care and IEP goals to address speech-language needs
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring
• Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines
• Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings
• Utilize technology and teletherapy as appropriate to enhance student engagement and outcomes

This position follows the 2025-2026 school calendar, offering 32.5 hours per week starting September 2, 2025 and ending June 25, 2026.
