# **Fitxlink | Remote | Hourly Contract**

Fitxlink is looking for a fast, resourceful video creator and editor who can turn raw footage, rough ideas, or a simple brief into polished content.

Sometimes we’ll give you footage to shape into a compelling story. Other times, you’ll create directly with AI. You should know how to choose the right approach, execute quickly, and build a repeatable creative production pipeline.

We need someone with strong editorial judgment who can find the hook, develop the story, and deliver something worth watching.

## What You’ll Own

### Organic Video Creation & Editing

* Turn raw footage, interviews, screen recordings, and founder videos into engaging content.
* Identify strong hooks, useful insights, and compelling moments without needing every timestamp supplied.
* Create short-form videos for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
* Edit longer videos and repurpose them into multiple standalone pieces.
* Add captions, motion graphics, B-roll, sound design, and clean audio.
* Adapt pacing, framing, and storytelling to the audience and platform.
* Preserve the speaker’s voice while removing filler and tightening delivery.

### AI Video Production

* Create original video assets using AI-generated footage, images, voice, animation, and supporting visuals.
* Combine live footage and AI assets into cohesive finished videos.
* Understand the difference between the underlying AI models and the tools or platforms used to access them.
* Choose models and workflows based on visual quality, consistency, control, speed, and cost.
* Maintain character, product, and brand consistency across shots.
* Recognize and correct visual artifacts, unnatural movement, poor lip sync, and audio issues.
* Use AI to accelerate production while maintaining editorial and visual quality.

### Creative Production Pipeline

* Build a repeatable process from brief and asset intake through editing, review, revisions, and delivery.
* Organize footage, prompts, project files, templates, and finished assets so others can find and reuse them.
* Develop reusable caption styles, brand kits, motion elements, and editing templates.
* Produce multiple hooks, cuts, and formats from a single source.
* Keep a clear production queue and communicate deadlines and blockers early.
* Deliver editable source files alongside final exports.

### Performance & Iteration

* Use retention, watch time, completion rate, shares, saves, and qualified engagement to improve content.
* Recommend stronger hooks, formats, and creative concepts based on results.
* Test variations and apply what you learn to future production.
* Collaborate with our copy, design, growth, and account teams.

## What You Bring

* A portfolio showing strong video editing, storytelling, and AI-assisted production.
* Experience creating organic content for founders, brands, or businesses.
* Proficiency in a professional editing platform such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
* Practical experience with AI video models and production tools, including an understanding of their limitations.
* Strong judgment around pacing, typography, composition, sound, and brand consistency.
* Ability to work from incomplete footage or a rough concept and make sound creative decisions.
* Fast turnaround, dependable communication, and organized project management.
* Availability during agreed U.S. business hours for collaboration and revisions.

## How We Measure Success

Strong creative delivered on schedule, efficient turnaround, fewer avoidable revisions, and a production pipeline that increases output while maintaining quality. Your work should become sharper as you learn Fitxlink’s brand and audience.

## To Apply

4. Your typical turnaround for a 30–60 second video when footage and direction are provided.
5. A brief description of your workflow from receiving a brief to delivering final assets.
6. Your requested hourly rate, weekly availability, and specific working hours in Pacific Time.

We’re looking for someone who can take the material, find the story, and get it made.
