About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 1 Year Required License: ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRI Certifications: BLS, ACLS (if applicable) Must-Have: - Confident in clinical skill sets - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment - Good communication skills - Teamwork attitude preferred Description: MRI Technologist position available in a dynamic department. This facility is a teaching hospital with licensed beds available. It provides services for a wide range of patient types, including adults and pediatrics. Typical patient volume is around 40-45 per day. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in MRI. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. A lead tech, modality supervisor, and imaging manager provide support within the department. Team members range from new graduates to those with long tenures, creating a diverse working environment. The imaging department utilizes Siemens 1.5T magnets and an EMR system. There are no floating requirements. Travelers will work the same shift as agreed upon in their contract. Call requirements vary based on team size and will be shared fairly. Travelers are expected to assist with holiday coverage unless prior approval is obtained. The department values good teamwork and high clinical skills in a fast-paced work environment. Technologists are required to wear black scrubs.
