About Preferred Care at Home Preferred Care at Home is dedicated to providing compassionate, dependable in-home senior care services that help clients maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. Our team is committed to delivering personalized care with respect, kindness, and professionalism while supporting both clients and their families throughout every stage of care. Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing caregiving team in Johnston, Iowa. The CNA will provide quality in-home care and assist clients with daily living activities while promoting comfort, safety, and independence. Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
Monitor and report changes in client condition
Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
Remind clients to take medications as directed
Maintain accurate daily care documentation
Follow all care plans and safety procedures

Qualifications

Active Iowa CNA certification required
CPR certification preferred
Previous caregiving or home care experience is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
