Job Summary
We are seeking a Field Service Coordinator (Mechanical Systems) to support and coordinate domestic and international service operations. This role is focused on coordinating and dispatching service work globally with vendors while working directly with customers to diagnose and manage issues. The ideal candidate has recent experience in service coordination or dispatching, strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between clients, vendors, and service teams
• Coordinate and manage domestic and international service requests to ensure timely and professional execution
• Schedule and dispatch vendors and service technicians based on availability and customer needs
• Provide customers with updates on service status, timelines, and scheduling changes
• Work directly with customers to diagnose and manage equipment or service-related issues remotely
• Coordinate global service operations while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, schedules, and customer communications
• Assist in developing SOPs and service-related documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve service coordination issues independently or with internal support
• Identify opportunities to improve service processes and customer satisfaction
• Generate reports on service activity, vendor performance, and customer feedback
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 35% to 50%)

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in field service coordination, dispatching, service operations, or a related role
• Recent experience coordinating and dispatching service work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and client relationship management skills
• Experience working with vendors, scheduling service calls, and managing service logistics
• Mechanical systems knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Knowledge of EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) practices preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Valid passport required

Physical Qualifications

• Ability to travel frequently, including international travel
• Ability to work hands-on with mechanical equipment and tools
• Ability to perform on-site service work in various environments
