Job Description

Job Summary:
The Radiology Technologist specializing in Cath Lab/EP procedures provides advanced imaging services to adult and geriatric patients. This role requires strong technical skills, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced outpatient and inpatient environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Perform IV starts, EKGs, and assist with specialized procedures such as stents, angioplasty, and angiograms.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety during high-level interventions.
• Maintain compliance with certification requirements including ARRT, BLS, and ACLS.
• Float to EP and other units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care delivery.
• Complete all documentation accurately within the Epic EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT certification and valid Ohio license; MI license in progress acceptable.
• Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a STEMI/PCI-capable facility.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EP, IR, Angio, and Special Procedures.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications; pass fingerprinting if required for Ohio units.
• Be STEMI ready with IABP and Impella training preferred.
• Capable of providing professional references from within the last 24 months.
