We are currently seeking a reliable CDL Class A Driver for a temp-to-hire opportunity.
Pay rate is $27.00/hour. Schedule is MondayFriday, 5:00 AM start until route completion (typically 810 hour days), average 50 hours per week.
This position primarily involves operating a flatbed trailer to pick up bales, with occasional dry van deliveries when flatbed work is unavailable. Drivers will operate within a 150-mile radius, allowing you to be home daily.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle with both flatbed and dry van trailers.
- Pick up and transport bales using a flatbed trailer.
- Secure loads using straps and ensure all cargo is properly fastened.
- Load and unload materials using a forklift.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with all DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service at pickup and delivery locations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Previous flatbed driving experience required.
- Forklift experience required.
- Experience with load securement and strapping.
- Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
